The Cube isn’t a stranger to the 3D printer world. In fact, it’s one of the best selling 3D printers available to home users thanks to its minimal price tag. However, it doesn’t satisfy every need and those with more professional or industrial needs might find themselves needing something a little more heavy duty. This is where 3D Systems’ CubePro 3D printer comes into play. It is a multi-material, tricolour, large capacity 3D printer that’s geared towards the enthusiast or industrial user.
About The CubePro 3D Printer
The CubePro, similar to the Cube, sports an enclosed print chamber and automated settings by default. Where it separates itself from the Cube is that this printer has a much larger print platform that accommodates very high resolution prints and minimal instruction on behalf of the user. It is available as a three print head setup, which allows the most detailed and highly accurate objects to be made. Users are also free to print in up to three different colours simultaneously and generally have more colour options made available to them in comparison to the Cube.
Like the Cube, CubePro is intuitive in its operation and has an easy to use touchscreen display. It’s also connectable through Wifi and Bluetooth, which allows users to download the Cubify Mobile app and print on the go: wherever they may be, provided there’s a stable connection between the user and the printer. The app is available on iOS, Android, and Windows Phone.
3D Systems facilitates a recycling program where users can exchange their empty cartridges for discounts on future orders. 3D Systems locations are available across North America and CubePro printers are shipped from local distribution and recycling centres, which reduces freight and is a more environmentally friendly alternative to shipping from one main warehouse.
